Khodorenko A. Personal names in Russian Internet: structural and semantic aspect.

The object is personal names in Russian Internet (nick, login). The aim is the system linguistic description of structural and semantic features of the personal names in Russian Internet. Methods - descriptive, descriptively - analytical, logical-classification, statistical, component and cognitive analysis. The thesis deals with the problem of the Internet-user's name (nick), particularly, its semantic and structural peculiarities. Due to complexity of the phenomenon under consideration, the linguistic, philosophical, psychological, cognitive methods of research have been applied. The definition of nickоnym, expressed by either words, word-combinations, sentences is given; basic models of word-combinations are presented. Nickonym is considered the cognitive model. Concept is proved to lie in the nuclear of nickonym. Stylistic devices are analyzed as linguistic gestalts; frame is presupposed to correlate with the idea presented in nick. The main concepts and the sphere of concepts, which are used in the Internet system of naming people, are considered in the paper. Spheres of use are the training courses, Internet.
