The thesis is integrated contains an analysis of the status of study of the problem. The scrutinizes V.Zinkivsky's views as to the development of the Ukrainian state, the making and organization of Ukrainian science and education in the epoch. V. Zinkivsky's influence on the development of national liberation movement of the end of XIX - the first half of XX century in Ukraine and the forming of state policy in the field of religion relations is traced, as his role in the forming of organizational bases of scientific establishments and political activity of emigration.
