Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the U.S. foreign policy strategy on the example of the Turkish Republic. In research the strategy of foreign policy of the only world superpower concerning to a definite state is examined in complex.The USA foreign policy strategy towards Turkey includes combination of military and nonmilitary factors: placing american military bases on the territory of the country and inclusion of the state in NATO, the economic model of dependence on the USA, influence on forming of the political elite and, in general, in cultural sphere through the system of higher education, model-building of the foreign policy through formation of the military-political blocks.Evolution of the american foreign policy strategy model towards Turkey is considered in the work. It was preceded by the crisis in the american-turkish relations.Carrying out the american foreign policy strategy concerning the Turkish Republic and creation the influence mechanism including hierarchy of the meansof influence, suggests that in long-term prospects Turkey in its foreign policy will take its bearings on current allied commitments with the USA.
