Zavodovs'kyj A. The press of Ukrainian Social Democracy and Ukrainian question in Russian empire at the beginning of the twenty century.

The dissertation deals with the political and ideological contribution of Ukrainian Social Democracy in sphere of the solution of the Ukrainian question in Russian empire at the beginning of the twenty century. Systematical analysis of the Ukrainian Social Democratic press of Russian empire and its publications, which somehow concern to the realization of the Ukrainian question were carried out as independent phenomenon. On the basis of a plenty of the literature and reliable sources the process of formation of periodicals of Revolutionary Ukrainian party, Ukrainian socialist party, Ukrainian Social Democratic working-class party, Ukrainian Social Democratic "Spilka", and also different projects of solution of Ukrainian question in Russian empire were brightened and investigated in this work. The attitude of various ideological currents in Social Democratic movement of Naddniprianshchyna toward the solution of Ukrainian question in Russian empire was cleared up through the prism of the periodical editions. Because of inclusion to the scientific circulation a huge number of unexplored materials of press of the beginning of the twenty century and archival documents, the certain historical facts and events were appreciated in a new fashion, also Social Democratic periodicals was presented like a difficult manifold phenomenon, which was one of the factors of realization of Ukrainian question in Russian empire.
