Safonova V. Innovative basics of macroeconomical prediction of the development of system of higher education in Ukraine

There has been studied the system of higher education in Ukraine and its structural components as basis for innovation development of this area under new social and economic conditions. The principal objective of the dissertation work is scientific and theoretical justification of concept and mechanism of prognosticating the system of higher education under conditions of market transformation of the society. The dissertation made use of both general scientific and special methods of economic theory: structural and genetic analysis, systemic analysis method, comparison method, graphical method, method of qualitative and qualitative prognostication assessment. There have been substantiated conception, instruments and prognostication in the area of higher education as based on new perspective paradigm of its development. Results of the study have been implemented in the teaching process in lecturing such subjects as "State regulation of economy", "Prognostication and planning under market conditions", "Social and economic prognostication", which have been developed within curriculum of "Education economics" in higher education institutions of Ukraine.
