Shvydenko N. Changeability of sowing and harvest qualities of Phaseolus vulgaris seeds depending upon abiotic and technological factors

Object: variability of sowing and productive features of haricot bean seeds. Aim: establishing the influence of abiotic and technological factors on sowing and productive features of haricot bean seeds. Methods: field, laboratory, mathematical, statistical. Novelty: calculation method of selection of highly productive seed fractions, honeycomb sowing method, new fire and ozone method of pre-sowing treatment of haricot bean seeds. Result: reasons for formation of heterogenuous seeds and ways to reduce their heterogeneity have been studied; dates and ways of harvesting haricot beans for seeds have been defined; expedience of sorting haricot beans according to their elasticity as well as pre-sowing fire and ozone treatment of seeds has been proven. Application stage: production control in a farming industry. Application area: seed-farming enterprises of Agricultural Industry of Ukraine.
