The dissertation contains the investigation of the historical, cultural, and artistic features of the pottery centres of Kul'chyn and Rokyta of the end ХІХ-ХХ centuries. The origin preconditions of occurrence is analysed and the basic stages of formation and development of pottery is allocated in this territory. The local distinctions in the technology of the pottery manufacturing in Kul'chyn and Rokyta are considered from the point of view of theory of arts. The typology of the forms is developed and the classification composition structure of ornaments of the polissian utensils is carried out. The creativity conducting craftsmen in a context of formation of art features of ceramics from Kul'chyn and Rokyta of the end ХІХ - ХХ centuries is covered.
