Оbject – Object– the process of forming of the spiritual culture of the at the end of the XIXth - the beginning of the XXth centuries; aim – study, analysis and systematization of theoretical ideas and generalization of experience; methods – retrospective, historical and comparative, historical and typological, historical and structural; novelty - the first complete analysis of the problem of forming of moral and esthetic culture of the students by means of choir arts has been made; results – the notion of moral and esthetic culture has been exposed; the role of the choir arts in the forming of the moral and esthetic culture of the students has bee defined.
