Thesis is focused on research of semantics of adjectives with suffixes-homonyms -оват-1/-еват-1, -оват-2/-еват-2 and suffix -еньк-/-оньк-, derived from different parts of speech - from nouns and adjectives. Structural and semantic bonds of derived word and derivative have been studied in the paper in the view of expressive and estimating derivation. Principals of basis and formative centered approaches stipulated distinguishing the types of derivatives have been analyzed.
