Thesis is dedicated to the research of Local military Formations of German Armed Forces at the territory of Reichskommissariat of Ukraine in 1941-1944. The reasons and circumstances of creating the local auxiliary military formations are analyzed in this work on a wide source basis. The methods of involving the local population of Reichskommissariat "Ukraine" into German army and police are depicted. Social, age, educational, national consistence of volunteers is studied. Main structural units of local formations of German armed forces in Ukraine, their role and position within the occupational regime institutions, ways and effectiveness of their engaging into the struggle against the enemies of the regime are also investigated.
