The dissertation researches the creative legacy of a prominent Ukrainian translator, Translation Studies scholar and lexicographer Mykola Lukash (1919-1988). His work is viewed in the context of Ukrainian literary translation with an emphasis on the characteristic features of the translator's method and his innovations. The research consists of an introduction, four chapters, conclusions, a list of references and an appendix.
