Essay

The thesis is devoted to investigation of the influence of testicular trauma on morphofunctional state of the vascular system, microcirculatory bed and convolute seminiferous tubules in different terms of posttraumatic period. It was determined that long term posttraumatic period resulted into significant decrease of the testicular volume; parenchime arteries, veins and microcirculatory bed vessels were significantly convolute and situated more dense. Convolute seminiferous tubules of the small diameter, their basal membranes were more thick, and general amount of the developing spermatogenic cells decreases. Experimental testicular trauma (blunt trauma, pressure) in early terms (5, 15, 30, 60 minutes) results into swelling of the interstitium, appearance of the microhematomas, separation from the basal membrane of the convolute seminiferous tubules layers of the spermatogenic epithelium. In long terms after testicular trauma, testicular weight, diameters of the convolute seminiferous tubules, total number of developing spermatogenic cells in them, endocrinocytes nucleus volume decrease. This proves that process of structural-morphofunctional changes in the testes is irreversible.
