The thesis studies the activity of the Ukrainian dairy co-operation of Halychyna, which was headed by "Maslosoiuz" in 1921- 1929. The preconditions and peculiarities of the development process of the Ukrainian dairy co-operation of Halychyna are elucidated, its structure is analysed. The thesis studies the productive capacity and trade activity of "Maslosoiuz", investigates the evolution of relations with civil organizations of Western Ukraine: "Prosvita", "Silskyi hospodar", "Soiuz ukraiinok". The Ukrainian dairy co-operation is regarded as an integral part of national, social, political, economic and cultural life in Halychyna.
