The dissertation deals with the studies of church stained glass of Galicia of the late 19 th - early 20 th centuries in the cjntext of basic phenomena and progress trends of stained glass sacral art in Europe. The nature of church stained glass formation in the late 19 th - first third 20 th century, the creative work of artists who had been making fine glass and the activity of famous European fine glass workshops is examined on the basis of complex analysis of stained glass art of Galicia of the late 19 th - early 20 th centuries. The church stained glass of Galicia of the early 20 th century is analyzed from a perspective of artistic, stylistic, technical and technological peculiarities.
