. The thesis is devoted to prosecutor's supervision of the observance of laws by bodies that conduct operational search activity, inquiry and pretrial investigation in exaction cases. The subject and objects,tasks and powers of a prosecutor of supervision of the observance of laws by bodies of operational search, inquiry and pretrial investigation were researched; techniques and methods of activity of prosecutor's supervision in exaction cases were developed; ways of optimization and norms of evaluation of prosecutor's supervision in preliminary investigation are presented.
