The object is an activity of conciliators institution in South-west edge of Russian empire. The goal is an exposure and substantiation of significance, construction and functioning peculiarities of conciliators institution on Right-bank Ukraine, his evolution during conducting of social-economic reforms at the second half of ХІХ century. The methods are a system-complex analysis and synthesis, problem-chronological, comparatively-historic, statistic, descriptive. Results and novelty are accomplishment for the first time a detailed complex analysis of conciliators institution functioning and evolutions on Right-bank Ukraine during conducting of peasant reform 1861, his role in social-economic reforms and administrative management of region at the second half of ХІХ - beginning of ХХ centuries. There are picked out functioning and development peculiarity of conciliators institution in south-west provinces of Russian empire. The basic causes are determined and grounded, which stipulate for a conciliatorsinstitution activity and evolution specific character on Right-bank Ukraine.
