Essay

The Dissertation is devoted to the investigation of problem of immortalization and preservation of history of the Cossacks in a cultural heritage of Ukraine. On the basis of complex study of sources and literature the different methods of working of public organizations as for protection of heritage of Cossack's period have been scrutinized. The role of public initiatives in formation of criteria of estimation of the historical and cultural heritage of the Cossacks was shown. The basic directions of studying of Cossack's period by scientific and public organizations have been also reflected. Systematization of the objects of heritage of Cossack's period under the type and location was carried out.
