The dissertation is devoted to the development of instruments aimed to be used by industrial enterprises to improve their environmental activities. The economic mechanisms of Ukrainian environmental policy, existing international environmental strategies and the instruments of their implementations have been researched; the features for eco-management system development on Ukrainian industrial enterprises as well as auditing and efficiency analysis for such a system have been analysed; theoretical aspects of ability and expediency for financial analysis integration into the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure have been defined; the recommendations on the implementation of Environmental Impact Assessment in Ukraine have been validated on the ground of oil extracting enterprise practice.
