Dissertation is devoted to the research of social and legal nature of judicial independence, improvement of the system of its guarantees.The problems of cooperation of judiciary with legislative and executive branches of power are thoroughly examined. International standards of judiciary are analyzed and recommendations on implementation of their notions into the national legislation are given. The author review moral and other requirements legislatively set forth for a judge. Suggestions on the improvement of legal status of the candidate on the post of judge and legal status of professions judges are presented.
