Research subjects: 120 perimenopausal women with bronchial asthma. The aim of research: to increase efficiency of bronchial asthma treatment at perimenopausal women by using of hormone replacement therapy with sex hormones on a background of bronchial asthma basic therapy in patients with attendant climacteric syndrome. Methods: clinical investigation, instrumental, radioimmunological, biochemical, static ones. Theoretical and practical results: bronchial asthma clinical course peculiarities in perimenopausal women are presented in the work. The negative influence of climacteric syndrome on bronchial asthma course was determined. In the patients there were determined concentration of gonadotropic and sex hormones, findings of calcium-phosphorous metabolism and bone mineral density in accordance with bronchial asthma severity. Novelty: For the first time incidence of the symptoms of climacteric syndrome was estimated in bronchial asthma patients. The interrelation between severity of bronchial asthmaand severity of climacteric syndrome was established. In the patients there were determined concentration of gonadotropic and sex hormones in accordance with bronchial asthma severity. Features of hormonal status in patients with bronchial asthma and climacteric syndrome was found out. It was proved the advisability of hormone replacement therapy with sex hormones in perimenopausal women with attendant climacteric syndrome of moderate - to severe course on a background of bronchial asthma basic therapy.
