Object: university education of Ukraine. Aim: a substantiation of theoretical-methodical bases of research of university education and development of recommendations for improvement of financial and motivational bases of its functioning in conditions of innovational development. Methods: system, structural-functional, system-structural, economic analysis, statistical. Results: methodical recommendations for formation of system motivation of scientific activity of workers of educational - scientific sphere are developed, the financial mechanism of investment of educational activity is advanced. Use: at creation of the concept of development of Tavriysky national university named Vernadsky for 2005-2010 years, at teaching of some disciplines.
