Masjuk O. Paternalism as object of social philosophy reflection

The object of research is the complex of mental models, which reflect the essence of the paternalism as the phenomenon of authority social relations. The purpose of research is social and philosophical comprehension of the essence of the paternalism and directions of improvement of forms organization of modern social life. Methods of research are the complex of philosophical and scientific methods of research, which included hermeneutical, structural-functional, system, axiological and dialectical approach. Theoretical results and novelty its was possible to find out definition of paternalism in social consciousness as a metaphor and content of organization of paternalism exchange in functioning of social associations and forming of ideological models of realizations of authority relations of paternalism in the process of modern public practice. Practical results and the sphere of use - the formed conclusions allow to understand the common being of practical reflecting of modern and world paternalisticrelations, and also possibilities of functioning forming civil society on the whole.
