Essay

In the dissertation it is pointed out principal directions of state ethno-denominational policies in the territory of the USSR in the period between 1944 and 1953. Distinctions and differences in its realization in Ukraine and Russia are shown. The previous stages of state attitude to church in the USSR and Ukraine are analyzed, and also the complex of the causes which reduced in their change in a post-war period is revealed; connection between the change of an ethnic structure of the population in Ukraine which has come off owing to tragic events of war and post-war ethno-national policy of the Soviet government, and its denominational structure is carried up; it is traced dynamics of number of religious communities, gentlemen of the cloth, divine service rooms which has enabled to make a conclusion about factual influence of realization of a religious state policy on changes of a religious infrastructure in post-war Ukraine; it's got the writer's outlook across a role and place the Russian Orthodox Church in ethno-transformational processes; attempt of integrated analysis of activity in the religious underground is carried out.
