Il"ich L. 'Labour Potential of Ukraine and Effectiveness of Its Itilisation.

The thesis is aimed at research of the problem of labour potential reproduction, development of theoretical-methodological basis of effectiveness of its use and ways of its increase from the views of up-to-date concept of economy management. The technique of the index of labour potential utilisation calculation has been substantiated and probed based on general integral index value construction and determination, constituents of which are the indices of fundamental components of labour potential estimation, characterising the phases of its reproduction. According to these calculations results, the comparative analysis of the labour potential present state and development has been made, also the effectiveness of its utilisation in the regional aspect, also the main trends and peculiarities of its reproduction have been defined. The Ukraine's regions have been grouped according to a number of indices: demographic, health protection, educational, professional preparation, levels of nominal and real labourpotentials and the index of effectiveness of its utilisation. The practical recommendations and measures concerning the state regulation of labour potential reproduction have been made directed to its maintenance, rational accumulation and effective use. The key results have been implemented into economic practice.
