Nevinchana I. Educational activity of Ukrainian intelligentsia in the context of Western European nation-creation process in 1921-1934.

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of educational activity of Ukrainian intelligentsia in the context of Western European nation-creation process in 1921-1934.This scientific work researches the problem of illiteracy of Ukrainian people, the attitude of Ukrainian intelligentsia to the problem of nation education which was connected with the introduction to scooling the idea of nation. The work considers the influence of mass educanion on the process of modern nation formation in the Soviet Ukraine. The characteristic features of textbook-creation activity of Ukrainian intelligentsia are cleared up. The attention is paid on the fact that sncreasing of totalitarian regime led to the braking of modern Ukrainian nation formation and that found out its reflection in education in general and in textbooks particularly.
