Essay

The thesis is devoted to analysis of distinctive psychological and organizational determinants of professional self-actualization of mid-level managers of commercial organizations. The paper includes theoretical substantiation, methodology and findings of an empirical study. The theme has been shown and the model of professional self-actualization of managers has been built. The insufficient level of self-actualization of mid-level managers of commercial organizations has been discovered as well as exceeding self-actualization's social conditions in personal-professional ones. Three types of manager's professional self-actualization have been determined as career-economic; socio-organizational; individual-professional. Psychological-organizational determinants of macro-, middle-, micro-level of self-actualization of managers have been studied. Basic conditions for development of high level of self-actualization of managers of commercial organizations have been shown to comprise the training, which includes three modules: 1) personal self-actualization of managers; 2) professional self-actualization of managers; 3) psychological and organizational determinants of self-actualization of managers.
