Essay

The thesis analyzes the theoretical and methodological principles of research into attitudes towards money and generalizes the findings of experimental studies into commercial organization staff's attitudes towards money. The author presents his theoretical model of commercial organization staff's attitudes towards money and discusses the disparities in the main components of commercial organization staff's attitudes towards money, which he has found in his empirical research. There are statistically significant relationships between commercial organization staff's attitudes towards money and staff's organizational and psychological characteristics (socio-psychological attitudes, job and life satisfaction, etc.) and the organization's characteristics (staff's understanding of the organization's aims, organization's care for staff, organizational culture type, etc.). The author has found that the organizational and psychological conditions for the formation of commercial organization staff's attitudes towards money include (at the organizational level) effective organization's monetary policy and (at the staff level) effective staff's psychological training technologies used in the organization. The author discusses a special training program called «Psychology of commercial organization staff's attitudes towards money», which he has developed and successfully tested.
