Essay

The thesis explores the psychological bases and presents the author's concept of the development of educational organization staff's tolerance. The work analyzes the nature, content, functions, levels, types, and components of staffʼs tolerance in modern educational organizations, presents the author's educational organization staff's tolerance development model as well as discusses the use of the organizational-psychological approach to the analysis of educational organization staff's tolerance. The author analyzes the results of an empirical study on the levels, types and components of educational organization staff's tolerance. The educational organization staff have been divided into the following three groups according to their tolerance levels: intolerant, social-and-cultural-spheres tolerant, and political-and-economic-spheres tolerant. There have been found certain disproportions in the presence of certain components and types of educational organization staff's tolerance. The author also presents the results of a study on the dynamics of educational organization staff's tolerance in relation to social transformations. Also, the work considers the relationship between the educational organization staff's tolerance levels and some meso-level (the level of the organization) and micro-level (the level of the individual) factors. The author describes the aims, tasks and structure as well as the effectiveness of her technology of psychological support for the development of educational organization staff's tolerance, which consists of the following three trainings: "The essence, structure of and personal factors in educational organization staff's tolerance", "Organizational development of educational organizations as a prerequisite of educational staff's tolerance", "Positive organizational culture of educational organizations as a condition for the development of educational staff's tolerance ."
