Essay

The Dissertation is devoted to the complex historical research of the process of ideological influence on the society which was carried out by functional means of Ukrainian trade-unions during the period which is known as "the Thaw". Using the wide range of published and archival material and documents the author looks into the mechanism of political, ideological and organizational subordination of trade-union to the totalitarian regime's interests. It has been also proved that "the Thaw" was the following stage of the totalitarian system which was much more perfect that Stalin's model of the totalitarian regime.
