Evsukova N. Political activity of Ukrainian trade-union in the period of independence (1991 -2000)

The Dissertation is devoted to the complex historical research of the political activity of Ukrainian trade-unions in the period of independence. Using the wide range of published and archival material and documents the author proves, that the political activity of this mass social organization in 1991 - 2000 was caused by a series of social-economic, political causes and by the condition of the legistative basis of trade-unions' activity. These facts taken as a whole made it impossible to solve some acute social problems in traditional for this mass social organization ways. In the research work it is demonstrated that perspective for the overcoming of the mentioned problem with the help of political methods completely brought about the expediency of the political aspect in trade-unions' activity.
