The dissertation is devoted to study of regional sex and somatotypologic characteristics of radioanatomic indices of chest formation and to assessment of their correlation with anthropometric and somatotypologic parameters. On the basis of complex investigations sex and somatotypologic characteristics of radioanatomic indices of chest and ribs in practically healthy urban young men and women, residents of Podilsk region of Ukraine, were studied and correlations between anthropometric and somatotypologic characteristics with radioanatomic indices of the chest formation were determined. Significant models of estimation of age, sex, components and somatotype type by Heath-Carter were made using the methods of step-by-step regression and discriminant analysis.
