Mazurok V. The resistance movement in Volyn in the 40s and during the first half of the 50s of the 20th century.

On the wide base, the main part of which are original files and materials of oval history (memories, interviews, letters of the witnesses of those events), the peculiarities of the rise of development and liquidation of the independent movement in Volyn in the 40th years and of the beginning of the 50th years are reproduced. Different ways of OUN (Ukrainian Nationalists Organization) and UPA (Ukrainian Uprising Army)'s struggle against Stalin's regime, German occupative administration, Soviet partizans and Polish underground are being investigated. The Hitler's characteristic of "New regime" has been given and has been shown the attitude of the civil population to nacist's policy in this region. Special case of this work is dedicated to analysis of the causes and consequences of the Ukrainian - Holes opposition in Volyn. The quest ion of military - political efforts of Soviet Resistance Movement and its relations with OUN and UPA this region has been exposed. The strategic and tactic problems of the struggle of Ukrainians military - political structures for independence of Ukrainian State are being lighted up and the essence of the discrepancy between them and the methods of their overcoming. The specific of opposing among Ukrainian independent forces and Stalin's totalitarian regime during Sovietization of Volyn have been found out. The reasons of the defeating of the national-liberation movement in this region and its consequences are in investigating.
