Essay

Dissertation work includes the results of researches on studying the influence of tuber number in the clone of new, spread potato varieties in the region: Student. Slava, Zahidna in the conditions of west Forest-Steppe on productivity, quality of seed material and other characters. The obtained results testify to growth acceleration and plant development from many-tubered clones in comparison with little-tubered ones. The difference is 5-9,3 days. The positive influence of many-tubered clones on the height hotbed plant of clone trial and super-superelite is established, that is, for example, in Slava variety was 20 c. in 1998. The increase of stem-generated possibility of material from many-tubered clones of hotbed of clone if trial is proved, where the increase in comparison with little-tubered was 0,5-0,6 stem/shrub. This difference in super-superelite is decreased in some way, although in separate cases (Slava variety) was analogical. It is established that all involved varieties in research are many-tubered. Their medium number in clone was 16-18,4 p/shrub. The part of shrub with 15th commercial tubers and more in Student variety was 52, Slava - 50, Zahidna - 58%. The significant difference of descendant productivity from many-tubered clones, in comparison with little-tubered in all hotbeds of Pre-Basic seed growing. The increase of harvest, beside the fact, that was studied, depends on biological features of varieties, and also meteorological year complex of research conducting. Its maximum significance was 134,3 c/ha. The differences of manifestation of virus diseases, the availability of small-developed clones in hotbed is established, and depends on biological variety peculiarities, meteorological conditions, and in separate years, the way of clone selection. The definite results of hidden virus infection with the use of serodiagnosis allow to confirm the unequal presence of virus in plants. In the hotbed of clone trial the number of plants with viruses X, S, M among the from little-tubered clones, rarely, in 2 times bigger than than in many-tubered. On the level of reproductivity the part if the material with the hidden infection is increased. The influence of tuber number in clone on starch content, protein, P, Ca, Mg is not available.
