3. The analysis of the national education in the families of the Ukrainian elite of the Starytskys-Lysenkos, the Kotsubynskys, the Krushelnytskys, the Grushevskys, the Kramarenkos, the Surovtsevs, the Bazhans is presented in the dissertation. The phenomena “elite personality”, “national elite” are theoretically grounded, the criteria for measuring elitism are determined and the process of the Ukrainian elite formation in the course of the history of Ukraine is investigated. The main points and trends of the national family education of the Ukrainians are described.
