Essay

Оbject - is process of development and realization of forest certification in Ukraine. Goal - is elaboration of principles and mechanism of economic stimulation of forest certification development in Ukraine. Methods - inductions and deductions, systems approach, graphics, calculation, comparison, statistics. Novelty - for the first time: are developed and substantiated principles of economic stimulation of forest certification development in Ukraine; offered and substantiated application of economic instruments for stimulation of forest certification of Ukraine; offered method of calculation of charges on conducting of forest certification of state forestry enterprises; it is improved: organizational structure of national certification bodies and national scheme of forest certification; further development: principles, which national certification bodies must follow in the process of realization of forest certification. Practical results - carried out analysis of factors, which affect development of forest certification; offered method and charges are calculated on conducting of forest certification. Some theoretical positions of dissertation are used in the alternative project of the Forest Code of Ukraine, developed in the National Forestry University of Ukraine and given for consideration in Supreme Council of Ukraine. Dissertation results are used by the Zakarpattya regional forestry administration for introduction of forest certification in practice of forestry and improvement of regional forest policy. Some theoretical positions and results of dissertation research are used in the process of teaching of courses "Forest policy" and "Economics of forest use" in the National Forestry University of Ukraine.
