Essay

The object of investigation - dynamic system " a moving vessel - surrounding fluid ", under incoming wave action; the purpose - development of calculation model and method for evaluating of full nomenclature of hydrodynamic pitch and heave characteristics of ship in regular waves; methods of research: the linearization of a nonlinear boundary value problem is provided by perturbation method; the boundary value problems are solved on the basis of regular application of Fourier and Fourier-Michell transforms; model experiments were provided to estimate the validity of theoretical results; the novelty - for the first time a linear hydrodynamic problem for calculation of motions of a ship, moving in an ideal, incompressible, unlimited fluid with a constant speed in regular head waves is formulated; and for the first time perturbation velocity potential is found in a form of integral operator with known functions; the distribution of hydrodynamics pressures within the limits of a mathematical model of a thin vessel is gained; the results - computational models, algorithms and programs of calculation of hydrodynamic performances of a pitching and heaving in a bead-on sea of a vessel; it is introduced - for development of new designs of vessels, while estimating forces acting on an oscillating vessel; the area of usage - designing and technical maintenance of vessels.
