Essay

The dissertation deals with the analysis of psychological factors of professional stress in school principals. The paper includes theoretical substantiation, description of research methods and findings of the empirical study of the problem in question. The paper reveals the structure of professional stress as well as its distinctive features in school principals. Most respondents have been found to have professional stress. The researcher considers its negative effects on school principals (physiological and psychological complications) as well as analyzes correlations between levels of professional stress and the respondents' organizational, professional, and personality characteristics. The researcher presents a special technology of school principals' training in professional stress prevention and coping which as well as gives results of its test-run experimental applications.
