Object of investigation - physical education of students. Purpose of investigation - to substantiate theoretically and check experimentally the effectiveness of the differential approach to the process of physical education of students from different biogeochemical zones of Transcarpathia bearing in mind physical condition and hormonal status of students for educational process effectiveness improvement and also for physical ability and health improvement. Methods of investigation: theoretical analysis and generalization of literary sources; survey; anthropometrical, physiological, biogeochemical, teaching methods; teaching experiment; methods of mathematical statistics. Scientific novelty - for the first time it was clarified, that it is possible to correct the hormonal status of students by special means and methods of physical education; new way of students' division into homogeneous groups was substantiated, taking into account the place of residence in low-lying and mountainous area; the forecastmodels of appropriate norms of physical preparation for young men was developed in movement tests for strength, hardiness, physical ability, speed- strength qualities depending upon their somatometrical parameters. Results of investigation - handout "Differential approach to physical education of students from low-lying and mountainous zones of Transcarpathia" was developed. Results of investigation were introduced to the teaching process of the Uzhgorod National University, Mukacheve technological Institute, to the course of theory and methodology of physical education at the National University of physical education and sport of Ukraine.
