Korolova G. Transformation of pоlіticаl and legal, social and economic position of women-peasants in Ukraine in 1979-2005: historical aspect

Different aspects of women-peasants position changes of their role and place in the society, mechanisms of their participation in social, political and economic activities on the basis of factual material and documents analysis are examined in this research The dynamics of changes in the legal field of Ukraine in sphere of international legislation observation concerning equal rights of men and women is considered. The author puts out his own period division of the processes and determines the stages of their realization. The researcher dethrones one of communist dogmas of soviet power in Ukraine that is the myth about of equal in rights of women in all spheres of social life as main achievements of socialism. Economic aspects of women-peasants employment their life and marking conditions changes in their status at the Ukrainian labor market, searches of ways of discrimination of overcoming are analyzed. A variety of social and political activities of women-peasants is shown, in particular their resperentativity in power bodies at different levels. And their participation in women's unions as one in the forms of social organizations. The role of women in family relationship is the development of agriculture in Ukraine.
