Об’єкт дослідження – managerial activity of the head of the Organs of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (OIA) as a separate type of professional activity. Мета дослідження – working out of innovation system of psychological selection of candidates for authorized posts in the OIA. Методи дослідження – systematic analysis, comparison, generalization, supervision, questionnaire, testing, expert assessment, mathematical statistics. Наукова новизна – first created the innovation system of professional-psychological selection, which defines the criteria of psychological fitness of candidates for authorized posts in the OIA. Практичне значення – implementation of results of the work caused the fluctuation reduction of authorized personnel, it provided financial and time expenditures, personnel engagement in the process of psychological selection. Предмет і ступінь впровадження – the results of the research are applied to: psychological selection of the candidates for authorized posts; qualification of the heads ofthe OIA; in the work directed to staff reservation for promotion; practical psychologists training of the OIA and Masters’ training on speciality „Management in Law and Order Sphere”; in-service of authorities of the OIA. Ефективність впровадження – acts of implementation testify to positive application assessment of the research results. Сфера використання – the system of psychological provision of the operational activities of the OIA of Ukraine.
