Essay

The thesis is devoted to researching the process of social adaptation from the point of view of the concept of self-organization of society. The author analyses the concept of "social adaptation", establishes the possibility and correctness of its inter-branch usage, dwells upon the characteristics of classifications of types of this process in modern scientific literature, upon pecularities of its going on in various social conditions. The author pays special attention to investigating social adaptation in conditions of anomic society. Spreading the ideas of synergetics to social sphere the author investigates social adaptation as one of the forms of such social interaction, where individual-to-individual relations take place, the peculiarity of which are equality and equivalence of all participants of interaction. It allowed the author to give a new interpretation of modern social adaptation processes in Ukraine, which despite their anomic character, contain great potential of possibilities of socialdevelopment.
