The dissertation is devoted to development of theoretical and methodological bases and improvement of the methodical approaches to the formation of steady land tenure system in terms of Ukrainian economy transformation. In the research the concept "steady land tenure" is advanced, its socio–economic essence is formulated. The ecological and economic estimation of land and resources potential of Ukraine is carried out, its comparative analysis in global measurement is done. The directions and the mode of steady land tenure system in conditions of transition to a market economy developed and substantiated.
