Dyatlova I. A Professional Soldier Personality in Information Society (social and philosophical analysis)

The object of research is the personality of a profes-sional soldier. The aim is to analyze the influence of information society on the development of the main personal qualities of a professional soldier, to define the main influential trends and principles. The methods of research are structural and functional, social and typological as well as activity approach and a number of general scientific methods (comparative analysis, synthesis, modelling, systematic approach, etc.). The basic results comprise the social and philosophical reflection of the essence of information influence on the process of personality socialization; definition of trends and principles of the effectiveness increase in developing professional solider personality within the information society; disclosure and grounds of the main tendencies in optimization of the process of professional soldier development.
