Essay

Subject of research - a process of the development of early-ripening and fusariose resistant breeding material of yellow lupine by the use of its collection gene pool. The purpose of the work is the development of breeding material on the basis of the use of collection gene pool of yellow lupine for obtaining early-ripeing, fusariose resistant forms. The methods of investigations are field, laboratory, visual, statistical. As a result of involving 42 varietal samples from the world collection 126 hybrid combinations of yellow lupine were developed. The choesed hybrids unite the signs of early-repening, productivity and high resistance to fusariose in the conditione of the Polissia, 6 valuable breeding forms are developed and registered at the National Centre of Genetic Resources of Plants of Ukraine (the Yuriev Institute Plant Growing). The heavy-yealding, fusariose resistant, early-ripening, yellow lupine varieties with vegetation period 95-105 days are developed. The research results were used in the practice in 2002-2005 in agrarian formings of the Chernigov region over area on 26.2 thou. ha, as well as in 2006 at the experimental Farm of Chernigov Institute of the Agroindustrial Production of the UAAS over on area 5 ga. The field of application - the agricultural production.
