Vasylenko O. Vasylenko O. M. Library statistics in Ukraine: (1992-2005).

The dissertation is devoted to the complex research of the library statistics state in 1992-2005. Historical aspects of becoming of library statistics on the territories of modern Ukraine connected with development librarianship and statistical researches are considered. It is analysed indexes system structure at different levels of library statistics according to development of library and information activity at the present stage. It is studied features of the organization of statistical researches and data processing of constant statistical supervision in libraries during transition to information technologies. The methods of statistical dates collected about libraries and library network activity and references account in bibliographical service on the basis of computer programme base are suggested. The methodical, technological and organizational aspects of the library statistics improvement are substantiated.
