Essay

This thesis is devoted to the research of Kyiv city role in the state system of the Rich Pospolyta. It determines the process of the transition of the city under the jurisdiction of the new state, the geopolitical role of Kyiv in the foreign policy relations, the process of the relations between the city and the Zaporozhian Cossacs. The features of economical and legal status of Kyiv are analyzed. The peculiarities of the confessional development of Kyiv in the Rich Pospolyta in 1569-1648 are also examined here.
