Gorlo N. The construction of the Dnipro hydrocascade reservoirs: social and economic aspects (the 50-70-s of the 20th century)

The object of research is a the construction of the Dnipro hydrocascade reservoirs which were constructed in the 50-70-s of the 20th century. The aim of research: to ascertain the presuppositions and consequences of hydroconstruction on the Dnipro and to analyse complicated complex of social and economic actions; which organized during the construction of the reservoirs. The Subjec of research: social and economic elements of the process of constructing of the reservoirs. The methods of research: dialectical analysis, synthesis, historico-comparative, system-structure, social psychology method. The results of research and novelty: for the first time the attempt of detailed analyse of social and economic elements of the process of constructing of the reservoirs during the period of the 50-70-s of the 20th century was done. It was proved that during the process of hydroconstruction the number of questions connected with the construction of reservoirs was solved not quite enough. Peculiarities of organization of migration, mechanizm of compensational payment, household arrangement of different categories of emigrants and collective farms on new places were investigated. The role of human factor in social and economic reforms in the period of the hydroconstruction was determined and social consequences of migration were stated. The sphere of usage: subsequent development of subject of research, writing of summarizing labours, train aids, during the reading of contemprorary history of Ukraine, special of courses of problems social-economic history of Ukraine of the 20th century; state policy.
