Essay

The object of study – state-church relationship on the territory of Donetchina in the 20-s of the XX century. The purpose of study is the complex-historical analysis of a place of orthodox church in antireligious politics of of the Soviet Power on Donetchina in the 20-s of the XX century. The methods used in the research are: problem-chronological, inductive, comparative, analysis and synthesis, typological. The practical value of work consists in use of materials of the dissertation by preparation of generalizing jobs on a history of Ukraine and history of orthodox church, lecture courses, special courses and practical lessons for higher educational institutions. The dissertation is a complex historic investigation of development of state-church relationship on the territory of Donetchina in the 20-s of the XX century. The author has studied a broad range of literature and archive sources, which allows to define the process of formation of the Orthodox church during the period of establishment of the Soviet Power in the region. The reasons of splitting of the orthodox church have been defined and generalized, peculiarities of development of renovation movement have been found, the process of its formation and gradual decline in Donetchina has been analyzed. It has been found out that after the moment of creating Donetska gubernia and confirming its borders on the state level in 1920 the work, aimed at establishing political, juridical and organizational undertakings of the Soviet system of state-church relationship began. Peculiarities of formation of state organs of anti-religious propaganda in Donetchina have been analyzed in a detailed way; the principle directions of their activity, concerning the Orthodox Church, have been drawn.
