Mazepa V. Substantiation of the operational requirements to selection and operation of motor oils on a technical condition in means of transport

There has been developed a method of the selection of motor oils for the EIC is developed which includes a tentative estimation of the constructive and operational characteristics of the engine, and also initial properties of motor oils with the help of criteria of similarity. There has been offered a new criterion complexes: criterion of an estimation of conditions of work of motor oil in EIC, which characterizes the constructive and operational characteristics, degree of deterioration of the engine and sort of carried out work; criterion of an estimation of operational properties of motor oils, which characterizes initial properties of motor oils and their change while in service of means of transport; criterion of an estimation of time of an operating time of motor oil in the engine, which allows to define terms of operation of motor oils on their actual condition, in view of constructive and operational features EIC. There has been developed a method of the operation of motor oils on their tech-nical condition is developed which allows by a settlement way to define time of operation of motor oils, in view of design features of engines of vehicles, contents of sulfur in fuel, pour of oil on an intoxication and initial properties of motor oils.
