Essay

The examination of the individual and social dimensions of liberty in the life of contemporary human was made. The basis of realisation of liberty is a dialectical unity "person-society", "individual-community" that is most vividly expressed in the dialogue between philosophies and ideologies of contemporary liberalism and communistarianism. In this context the dissertation analyses deeply mutual connection of individual and social through the phenomena of individualism, privacy, autonomy, sociality, publicity, community.
